Emily Ausmus combines offensive and defensive film to teach the habits that make zone play effective: team togetherness, aggressive posture, intelligent shot selection, and coordinated movement during the transition from press to zone. She explains how attackers use tempo, fakes, and off-ball positioning to create center-entry or shooting windows, while defenders read the ball and center, take away a side of the cage, communicate help, and close space without giving up high-percentage looks. The session also reinforces anticipation, pressure, and applying one clear responsibility within the team’s structure.
