Chase Dodd uses UCLA defensive film to explain the individual reads behind a trapping defense. He follows X4 as the defender protects center and directs the ball toward a less threatening attacker or shooting position. The center defender, neighboring defenders and goalkeeper also shape the trap. Across the clips, Chase treats the defense as a changing response to the possession. The players move between pressure, help and blocking positions as center coverage and the ball change. He explains why a defender must keep checking behind them, communicate the next responsibility and finish the defensive possession before leaving for offense.

Chase Dodd uses UCLA film against Cal and Stanford to teach water polo athletes how confident, proactive communication organizes zone and press defense. He explains who should call matchups, zones, traps, help, no-foul decisions, and 7-on-6 coverage; how to anticipate plays before the whistle, protect each player’s role, and keep the goalie, guards, and perimeter connected. The session also covers constructive feedback, avoiding panic or chaos, and using communication to build team trust and awareness.

Chase Dodd uses UCLA and Princeton film to teach pressing defense as more than chasing steals: stay in front, protect inside water, deny the entry, and keep the player between the attacker and goal. He explains smart underwater contact, staying balanced through drives, forcing attackers toward uncomfortable choices, and recognizing tendencies from film so defenders can anticipate back-door drives and transitions between press, zone, and traps. Useful for athletes learning team defense, communication, and player-specific reads.

Chase Dodd uses five clips from a 16U Junior Olympics gold-medal match to teach the defensive habits that shut down elite scorers. He breaks down full press into a 4–5 zone, protecting inside water, denying easy center entries, splitting to force lower-percentage shots, and staying disciplined to finish possessions instead of chasing offense. The session also covers 6x7 defense: committing to blocks, keeping defenders on the same page, and moving the ball one pass at a time so the goalie can read the play. Useful for athletes, coaches, and families studying team defense.

Chase Dodd reviews zone-defense film to explain when defenders should stay tight, drop into help or change their coverage as the ball moves. He follows both the center defender and perimeter players, showing how their decisions depend on the attacker's position, center coverage and teammates' responsibilities. The clips include defending a ball reversal, responding to a 4-2 attack and moving from a press into zone coverage. Chase emphasizes that a zone needs shared decisions and clear blocking assignments. He also explains how poor offensive spacing can give defenders room to help, and why protecting inside water remains a priority as the formation changes.

Chase Dodd breaks down five clips centered on team zone defense, including 2-3-4 structures, traps, after-goal press, represses, 4-2 defense, and the transition into offense. He explains how defenders protect the center from live entries, cover for one another, move at shooters with the right angle and body position, and communicate through rotations. The final clip connects those defensive reads to attacking a zone and creating a post entry, giving athletes a complete view of how positioning, pressure, and team defense shape possessions.

Chase Dodd uses five game clips to explain help defense on drives, starting with the defender's responsibility to protect inside water. He connects that individual positioning to the teammate down the line, the center defender and the goalie, showing why defending a drive involves more than the player guarding the driver. The film discussion follows how defenders adjust as the ball moves, keep enough distance to avoid being grabbed, and read an attacker's hips and shoulders. Chase also explains the communication that lets a teammate help or switch when the initial defender gets beaten.

Chase Dodd combines a fireside conversation about his development with a short film lesson on drive defense. He explains how reviewing mistakes can reveal a simpler swimming route or a small positional change, then uses two clips to connect inside-water protection, switching and communication. The conversation also covers learning from other defenders and the intent Chase brings to practice. His defensive lesson centers on a shared responsibility: when an attacker beats one defender, the next player must help without leaving another attacker unguarded near the cage.

Chase Dodd breaks down the defensive habits that separate reliable top players from athletes who only make occasional stops. The session focuses on daily practice standards, film habits, positioning discipline, and the small choices that make half-court defense more predictable under pressure. This recording is useful for players who want to defend with more consistency, communicate earlier, and build the repeatable habits coaches trust in big moments. Athletes should come away with clearer cues for body position, anticipation, passing-lane pressure, and turning defensive details into a competitive advantage.

This session is about being in the right place one beat earlier. It focuses on how defenders anticipate passes, protect dangerous water, and position their body so attackers are forced into lower-percentage choices. Players will get a practical feel for how half-court defense becomes easier when everyone sees the same picture: ball pressure, help-side positioning, passing-lane pressure, and controlled blocks. It’s a strong session for athletes who want to stop chasing plays and start dictating them.

This session is built around the three moments every attacker faces in the half court: pass, attack, or finish. It helps players recognize when the defense is giving them a shot, when they should move the ball, and when to attack space before it disappears. Users should come away with a cleaner decision-making framework for front-court possessions. It’s a strong fit for drivers, perimeter players, and attackers who want to play faster mentally without rushing physically.

Chase Dodd leads a half-court offense masterclass focused on how high-level attackers read the pool and create quality chances. The session gives players a window into the decisions behind elite spacing, passing, shooting, and attacking rhythm. This is a great watch for athletes who want to understand why great offensive players look calm under pressure. The value is in the details: how to see the defense, when to be aggressive, and how to turn small advantages into high-percentage possessions.

Chase Dodd breaks down man-up possessions from his title run, showing how elite six-on-five offense creates and finishes advantages. The session looks at spacing, timing, reads, and the small decisions that turn an extra-player opportunity into a goal. This is especially useful for players who find man-up confusing or overly scripted. Chase shows how great players read the defense, move with purpose, and make simple decisions at championship speed.

Chase Dodd breaks down how to move and make decisions in a 6-on-5 advantage, using the man-up decision chain that creates high-percentage chances under pressure. The session focuses on spacing cues, release timing, ball movement, defender reads, and how attackers can stay connected instead of standing still. This recording is especially useful for athletes who want a clearer structure for power play offense. Players should leave with better reads for when to move, where to release, how to preserve spacing, and how disciplined 6-on-5 movement turns extra-player opportunities into cleaner finishes.
